Still a battle, still a major temptation. But those feelings of guilt, shame and desolation are just not worth it. My self-respect certainly is.

It is now three months since I was summoned by the top brass and suspended on a precautionary basis from my job pending an investigation into my
acting out behaviour a decade ago. I pray for a merciful outcome like Dek received. But so far, no word at all. I am not optimistic.
My marriage has never been better. I have had weeks and weeks of time alone with a computer - something I used to relish in the past, but no longer.
The irony of these two things is not lost on me.
I expect to hear quite soon that I will be sacked, with probable loss of 30 years' pension. I have, however, gained far more than I will have lost in
many ways. I am not sure, notwithstanding, if my wife and children will see it like that when it comes to selling our home and moving away. I ask
anyone so minded to keep them in their thoughts and prayers, please.

seems like you have a good understanding of the bigger picture and though it is a tough situation to be dealing with you are seeing the good that has

Day 111 free of porn. Some days are easier than others. Biggest help has been to figure out what triggered the porn urge. I've used a notebook to
keep track of how I feel and what's going on when the urge would hit. That really helps me to understand the nature of my addiction and get a handle
on controlling it.
My marriage is stronger now than in a long time. My wife is supportive and understanding. She has joined me in one of my therapy sessions and it was
very good for both of us.
I'm having success with my recovery now, but I must not become overconfident and loose my way. I must stay diligent and keep working my program no
matter how well I think I'm getting along.
