MrBadger - 76 days, over half way from 60 to 90, not that anything but the next 10 / 24 matter.

God loves me right here, right now, just the way I am. God's love is unlimited and unconditional. There is nothing I can do so good that it would make God love me more. Nor is there anything I can do so bad that it would make God love me less.

44 days.

Need to remember that I am not cured. Last two triggers were attractive women showing a mild interest in me. The fundamental problem is that although I am happily married, I still craved the attention and let imagination take over. Twice!

Want to live free on a content and spiritual basis. OK to be a little flattered, but not looking for anything more. Don't want to turn to poison for any reason.

46 days.

Funny, I had never recognized the above as a trigger for P before, but it sure has been one. Need to keep a safe distance from attractive women but at the same time practice love and support. A fine line.

MrBadger - 87 days.

And I know what you mean about unexpected triggers. I know that for some people FB is absolute poison. But it never has been for me. Until... the other day someone kind of "hit" on me in a way that totally stroked all my needy buttons. I surrendered it to God and my group and have no lasting effects of which I am aware. But it was quite a surprise. Honestly, I think this is only the 2nd time in my life when I was aware of being hit on. Felt seductively good. Thus the need to surrender.

MrBadger - Have a 90-day chip in my pocket through no fault of my own. It was all grace of God though the program and those who love me. Now I just need to do another 90-day and I'll get that coveted 6-month chip. But really, nothing but the next 10 minutes for the next 24 hours matters. So 10/24 my friends.

Congratulations Badger! So you do actually get a physical chip from the SA group?

MrBadger - Day 91.

And yes, they give out actual, physical sobriety chips for:
- Desire to be sober today
- 30 days
- 60 days
- 90 days
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 1 year
- 18 months (ever controversial! :D )
- Multiple years

Might seem a little cheesy as someone noted. But there it is. It gives everyone a chance to share in the celebration. It's easy to get obsessed with the date and the chip, which is why the "One Day At A Time" comes in and why I note that I can't really choose to be sober beyond the next 10 minutes, or sometimes the next breath. But acknowledging the work we've done and the effect it has had is a way of affirming that this work is not in vain.

56 days.

Congratulations Mr. B!

This is how I want to live out my life, and I know you do, too.

One day at a time.

Two months yesterday.

I want to walk in the light. God protects me on the outside, but it is up to me, with His help, not to invite evil inside my head and heart. This is how I/we get turned away from God.

I have a lot of selfish greed and desire for more that must be defeated. So much good has been given to me. I choose today to receive those things with thanks rather than to pursue those other things which will rob me of joy.

Failed. A wave of lust hit and I chose it.

Shackle, sorry for the difficulties. But you came back. And that's 99% of the battle.

Way to go Shackle! That's awesome.

P-free from Sept 2012 until July 2014. Spent a couple months off and on binging, then realized I was back on the exact path that landed me here originally. Taking it day to day and trying to be a better man.
