"Every Man's Battle" by Steven Arterburn
Has anyone heard of that book or the author. I read the book "Every Young Man's Battle" many years ago. It's part of "Every Man's Battle series. Steve
Arterburn also has a radio show. I gonna start back to listening to his show, he specializes in these things. I heard it's also a class. I read that
book a few years ago. It helped me....for a while. I was thinking about rereading it and maybe we can turn it into an "internet class thing". We'll
read a chapter from the book one night the discuss it the next night. I sorta wish we had a chatroom here or something where we can read it together
via internet and disscuss it. the book is about the very battles we're dealing in right now on this board. I just think id get alot more out of the
book if we did this together. Is there a way?

Hi Derek,
Steve's book is a good resource. From your other posts I assume you are a man of faith; another book to check out is The Three Battlegrounds by
Francis Frangipane. The topic of chatting has come up before, but most think the potential downsides outweigh the potential benefits, so for now, this
is what we do. Work your journal.... come up with a defined plan, write it out and write about your daily success and struggles. Let this be a place
of refuge for you as you seek sobriety. You can do it. You are not alone.
Peace,
Thims

I see your point. While i still do believe that the chatting would help more because its live and all, i do have a hard time chatting, especialy when
theres a lot of people on there, and theres alot of dialouge going on, i can only see out of one eye, so it gets hard. In that respect, while less
personal, message boards are more easier.
